U-M IOE Lecturer Debra Levantrosser awarded the Michigan Lean Consortium Distinguished Service Award

University of Michigan Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) Lecturer Debra Levantrosser has been awarded the Michigan Lean Consortium (MLC) Distinguished Service Award for superb customer service and going above and beyond in time commitment and service to Michigan and the MLC.

University of Michigan Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) Lecturer Debra Levantrosser has been awarded the Michigan Lean Consortium (MLC) Distinguished Service Award for superb customer service and going above and beyond in time commitment and service to Michigan and the MLC. This award was presented during the The 2022 MLC Annual Conference on August 11.

“It is an honor to be recognized by such a distinguished organization,” said Levantrosser. “I look forward to many more years with the Michigan Lean Consortium.”

The MLC was founded in 2008 by Levantrosser. Their annual conference brings together professionals across sectors who are passionate learners of lean thinking. This year Levantrosser also had the honor of acting as the Mistress of Ceremonies for the conference.

Levantrosser also acts as the faculty advisor for students in the U-M IOE ambassadors program, the U-M student chapter of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, and the Tauber Institute for Global Operations. Additionally, she hosts career readiness workshops year-round for students interested in their next steps.
