BIOGRAPHY

Craig Russell is a Senior Managing Director in the Institutional Client Solutions group and the Global Head of the Private Capital Group. Mr. Russell joined Blackstone after 15 years at Goldman Sachs where he was most recently Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Co-Head of the Global Client Business. During his time in these roles, he was responsible for global sales and client relationship management for all institutional and retail client assets.

Mr. Russell serves on the Board of Directors of Wellness in the Schools, a national nonprofit that creates healthier environments for children, and the Evans Scholars Foundation. Craig currently co-chairs the IOE Advisory Board Fundraising Subcommittee while serving on the IOE Advisory Board since 2010.

In addition, Craig and his wife Pamela, a clinical psychologist, focus their philanthropic activity toward increasing opportunities for under-resourced populations through early mental and physical health programs as well as college scholarships.

Craig earned a BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1988.
