Brian Denton, University of Michigan Industrial and Operations Engineering (U-M IOE) Stephen M. Pollock collegiate professor and department chair, has been elected a fellow of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE).

Each year no more than 20 fellows are named out of over 10,000 members, making this a prestigious honor. Candidates must demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in both their professional career and in service to industrial and systems engineering.

“I’m honored to be selected as a fellow of IISE, and I’m grateful to my colleagues and collaborators who nominated me. Being part of such a supportive community is one of the best parts of IOE.”
