Nick grew up in Ann Arbor before earning his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. While at UM, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Ergonomics, where he developed an interest in product usability and accessibility. Since then, he has worked as a User Experience Researcher at Transamerica, Comcast, and most recently, Meta, where he supports Facebook app research.

Damon P. Williams, PhD is the inaugural Associate Dean for Outreach and Engagement within the College of Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. A native of Ellicott City, Maryland, Dr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering, summa cum laude, from Georgia Tech in 2002. He pursued his graduate studies at the University of Michigan, earning both his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering.
