GRADUATE SCHOOL WORKSHOP

Are you interested in graduate school and career opportunities in industrial engineering? U-M Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) is holding a one-day interactive graduate school workshop in Ann Arbor on October 8, 2021, for selected applicants.
All attendees will have their travel and lodging costs covered.
The workshop is designed for domestic undergraduate students who want to learn about graduate school in industrial engineering and how to increase the odds of acceptance to master’s and PhD programs.
We will share tips about what admissions committees look for in applications, how to pick graduate programs to apply to, and what criteria to consider when selecting an offer.
The event is open to all students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. You do not have to be majoring in engineering to attend. Students with computer science, economics, physics, statistics, mathematics, and other science and engineering backgrounds are welcome to apply.
Attendees will learn about the field of industrial engineering and areas of emphasis such as data analytics, operations research, and human-systems integration. Learn how to pursue career paths in areas like consulting, financial engineering, healthcare, supply-chain analytics, energy, education, research, and more.

Explore Michigan Engineering Research and Graduate Education (EMERGE) 2021 Information
The University of Michigan College of Engineering invites students from a wide array of diverse backgrounds, to explore Michigan Engineering for completion of their Ph.D. We invite select students for an in-person visit to the Michigan Engineering campus. They will engage with current faculty and students and learn how to create excellent graduate school applications. The in-person visit dates are October 28th-30th, 2021 All expenses are paid by the University of Michigan. To mitigate the spread of Covid-19 the EMERGE program is following Michigan Department of Health guidelines and offering single rooms for all our visitors.
