Adam VanDeusen is a PhD candidate working with Dr. Amy Cohn. His research involves industrial engineering applications to the healthcare industry. Methods include decision analysis, simulation, and linear programming. Specific applications include public health policy, healthcare access, and impact of healthcare technology on decision-making.Adam works in the Center for Healthcare Engineering & Patient Safety (CHEPS). At CHEPS, he develops models to improve access to eye care in veteran populations and analyzes policies to accommodate patient preferences in specialty care appointment scheduling.
