Naichen Shi is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. His research focuses on learning with heterogeneity and probabilistic models in data analytics. Mr. Shi’s research has been broadly applied in deep learning, smart manufacturing, digital twins, and spatial transcriptomics. He is the recipient of the IOE Wilson prize and a finalist in four INFORMS best paper competitions.
Research Interests
Optimization, machine learning, with applications in several fields.
