Message from the Chair of IOE
“I believe a leader is there to help great people do great things. I will strive to create an environment where everyone can excel, so as a department, we can do great things, while being inclusive of all members.
This idea expands to our roles as Michigan Engineers. We serve the state of Michigan and beyond, therefore we need to think about how we make an impact not only on our local communities but on the broader world. We need to think about partnerships, collaboration and network building with companies and alums. These partnerships should not only give our students experience but serve as a way for our students and alums to give back to their communities.”
