Scholarships

Undergraduate scholarships available for declared University of Michigan Industrial and Operations Engineering (U-M IOE) students:

Accenture has established two endowed scholarships for undergraduate Industrial and
Operations Engineering (IOE) students at the University of Michigan — the Accenture Industrial and
Operations Engineering Scholarship and the Michael Goldberg Memorial Scholarship/Internship.

Requirements

  • Potential recipients must have strong academic standing and be an active participant in
    campus activities
    Potential recipients should also display an interest in business, consulting and
    information technology
    Potential recipients must be able to work full-time for an unlimited period of time in the
    United States (U.S. citizen or permanent resident status)
    Potential recipients must have a minimum 3.200 overall GPA
  • Specific to the Michael Goldberg Memorial Scholarship, the student must also have
    been involved in a leadership position within a student organization.

Both scholarships are for tuition.

2023 Accenture recipients – Katherine Christiansen, Vineet Dongre, Ryan Khoury, Charles Della Penna, Sebastian and Taboada

2023 Accenture/Goldberg recipients – Sarah Acord, Sara Gaitan, Renee Lince, and Yueyun Xia

This is awarded to select students in the Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) Department.

2023 recipients – Ryan Barber, Haley Bartimus, Megan Beemer, Max Genthe, Samuel Goldman, Justin Meyer, Julia Mocny, Sarah Skaggs, Kiran Stump, Lucas Theaker, Peter Todd, and Raymond Zhou

To be awarded each year to an undergraduate student who has an interest in pursuing an education and a career in engineering economics, financial engineering or financial management.


The successful candidate(s) shall be an undergraduate Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) student with an outstanding overall grade point average and a demonstrated interest in economics and finance.

2023 recipients – Thomas Adelman, Thomas Feldkamp, Guillermo Carnicero Gonzalez, and Deborah Wainberg

This scholarship is awarded to those who demonstrate financial need within the U-M IOE department.

This annual scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student in the Department of
Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) who has an interest in pursuing an education and a
career in human factors.

2023 recipients – Colin Badgero, Erin Benitez, Adam Thompson, and Peiyu Wang

This is awarded to select students in the Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) Department.

2023 recipients – Urvee Deo, Aurora Husic, and Ava Pascuzzi
