Miao Yu is a PhD candidate in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. His research interests are in combinatorial optimization and stochastic integer programming with applications in vehicle routing and shared mobility problems. Currently, he is working on the carsharing/ridesharing system design and operations optimizations problems, including vehicle routing, service matching and appointment scheduling.
