Hideaki Nakao’s research focus is in the field of two-stage and multi-stage stochastic mixed-integer programming under limited information on the probability distribution of the parameters. In particular, he is interested in the case where the uncertainty is dependent on the actions and events. The applications include car sharing and control systems engineering.
