Ece Sanci is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering. Her research focuses on the applications of operations research in humanitarian logistics. She is currently working on integrating location and network restoration models in relief networks to increase the effectiveness of emergency response operations. She is mainly using the stochastic programming framework to address the uncertainty related to emergencies.
