Thomas J. Armstrong is a Professor in the Department of Environmental and Industrial Health, and the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering. He also participates as a faculty member in the newly formed Department of Biomedical Engineering. He teaches courses in occupational ergonomics. Dr. Armstrong chairs the American National Standards Institute accredited Z365 Committee on Control of Work Related Cumulative Trauma Disorders, is a member of the editorial boards for the American Industrial Hygiene Association Journal, Human Factors and Ergonomics, and the Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation.
