IOE student, Rama Mwenesi, selected to receive Stellar Multicultural Performance Award

IOE undergrad, Rama Mwenesi, has been selected to receive the Stellar Multicultural Performance Award at the 1st Annual CEDO ScholarPOWER Banquet to be held on Wednesday, February 1st 2012 in the Michigan Union Rogel Ballroom.

The awards are given to those nominees who show outstanding contributions to multicultural understanding and diversity awareness and will be presented by the managing director of the Center for Engineering Diversity and Outreach (CEDO), Robert Scott. Each award winner will be presented with a trophy in recognition of their achievement.

The primary initiative Rama has been working on called E-MAGINE in which the goal has been to create awareness and solutions to "help teachers, help students, by bridging the digital and social divide in underprivileged schools around the world".
