Professor Jeff Liker receives 2009 Shingo Prize
Jeff Liker has been selected to receive a Shingo Research Prize for 2009 for his recent book, "Toyota Culture." He will receive the Research Prize at The Shingo Prize Awards ceremony on May 8, 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee. The Shingo Research Prize recognizes and promotes research and writing regarding new knowledge and understanding of manufacturing consistent with the philosophy of The Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence Guidelines.
This is the EIGHTH! Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence that Jeff has been awarded. One of these previous Shingo Awards was in 2005 for his book, "The Toyota Way," which has sold over 500,000 copies.
