Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders

Description: For students with an advanced interest in the prevention and rehabilitation of occupational musculoskeletal disorders. Content includes 1) lectures, readings and discussions on biomechanical, physiological and psychological factors and on exposure assessment, 2) oral and written critiques of historical and contemporary literature, 3) job analysis and design case studies from manufacturing and service operations (site visits and archived video).

  1. Weekly literature reviews
  2. Comparative literature review
  3. Job analysis
